Update on tour

Hello all,

Seems Jetstar are taking their time to issue our tickets. I have again followed up with the travel agent today. As soon as we receive them we will forward to you.

For those that will be travelling with prescribed medication, after consulting with the School nurses and reading through the Smart Traveller website – https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/before-you-go/health/medications – it may be advisable to ask your GP for a letter to carry with you for customs purposes. I have taken antibiotics before as a precaution and did not have an issue however best to be safe than sorry.

Urgent call for those students that have yet to provide a prize for the raffle. Please hand in this week so that we can sell tickets for this next week.

All fundraising should now be completed. If you are still unable to meet your $500 requirement please see me at Duncraig tomorrow.

Post lunchtime meeting outcomes

Thank you to those that were able to make it today. I understand that some of you are under the weather. Hope you get well soon.

The major items discussed today were fundraising, quiz and preparing your activities. Some of you have completed your fundraising and thank you for ticking that off so quickly. Most of you have plans moving forward but if you struggle or think you may not make the $500 required, please do not leave to the last minute and see any of the team and we can assist you to make plans.

A number of you have managed to gather some donations for the raffle. This is a good fundraiser and the more we can add to it the better. One from each student minimum is required, if you can manage more, even better. I have set a date for the 22 May for all donations to be handed in. You can bring any you have next Tuesday when we meet after school. Some ideas are:

Nail/hair vouchers

Bunnings/Coles/Woolworths/movie/JB HiFi vouchers

Gourmet basket

Coffees/teas etc

If the letter that you present needs confirmation from the retailer, we are happy to do that for you.

Please ensure that you attend the meeting next Tuesday and please bring your prepared activities with you.

As per usual, any questions just ask.

Vias application

Hello all,

In regards to the Visa application it has just been made aware to me that a return ticket may be required for the completion of it. We are going to assume at this stage that perhaps an itinerary will suffice. However if you wish to hold wait to apply, I will complete my application and advise as soon as I have done so.
