Welcome to Term 3!
Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful break and were able to enjoy some precious time with family. The gift of rest, connection and a chance to re-charge is something we don’t take for granted and we trust the holidays brought a moment to pause and refresh.
A big thank you to all the parents who attended parent-teacher interviews yesterday. Your presence and ongoing support mean so much to us. We firmly believe that a strong partnership between home and school is key to every child’s success and we’re grateful to walk this learning journey alongside you.
As we step into this new term, our hearts are full of excitement for all that lies ahead. From swimming lessons for our Year 1 to Year 4 students, to Father’s Day celebrations, the magic of Book Week, our vibrant House Athletics Carnival and of course, the much-anticipated Peter Pan Jr Production, there is so much to look forward to! On top of these special events, our classrooms will continue to buzz with rich learning experiences, nurturing curiosity, creativity and growth in every child.
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all new families joining our wonderful school community. We are so thrilled to have you with us and look forward to sharing this journey together.
Here’s to an amazing Term 3, full of joy, learning and opportunities to shine!
Warm regards

Running Club
All students in Kindy to Year 6 and their families are encouraged to join Miss Nicol, Mrs Bartels and Mr Simms on the Primary Green every Thursday morning to run as many laps around the Green as you can! First run club will start next Thursday 7 of August. No matter what your ability is, come on down to earn House points, improve your fitness, build your confidence and run your way towards a healthier lifestyle. Each participating individual will be given their own Running Club lapathon card to count their laps every week. Runners will earn 1 Running Club House Point for every lap they complete around the Primary Green. Running Club lapathon cards must be placed in the lapathon bin after students have finished running their laps.
Students – come dressed in your sport uniform or normal school uniform and running shoes. Students who do not have PE on a Thursday will need to change into their formal school uniform/shoes after running club.
OshClub Runners
Students who attend OSH Club on Thursday morning are welcome to come along to Running Club too. Please advise the OSH staff if your child would like to attend running club and a staff member will walk them to our club on the green. Thank you.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions – kaliah.nicol@ststephens.wa.edu.au

Lost Property
A friendly reminder to check lost property, located in the Reception Office (just near the door to the Primary Forum). All uniform items labelled with names, were returned to the relevant classrooms on Monday, however we still seem to have a large number of unclaimed water bottles, head bands and food containers.
Please remember to label all items with your child’s name as it does help reunite them with their owner.
After School Clubs
Registration for Term 3 After School Clubs will be available from 6.00pm this Friday 1 August.
Remember to only register your child for activities available to their year group and only one club per child so that all students have an opportunity to join a club.
Details of clubs will be available at https://portal.ststephens.wa.edu.au/parent-and-student/plan-the-day/after-school-clubs.html from 6.00pm this Friday 1 August.
