Rainbow Run Final and Important Information

Tomorrow is the big day! It’s our final day of school for 2025 and the much-anticipated Rainbow Run is finally here! Here are some key details you need to know:

Location: On The Green, starting at 11:00am

Kindy Students:
Kindy students will be dismissed at 11:00am. Parents are welcome to attend the event with their child. If attending, Kindy parents will be responsible for supervising their child.

Clothing:
Students should come to school dressed in the clothes they will wear during the run (white or old t-shirt with school shorts). It is at parents’ discretion whether students run with or without shoes. We strongly encourage students to wear swimming goggles or glasses to protect their eyes. Staff will always endeavour to aim the powder from the waist down, but as this is a busy activity, we would rather play it safe.

While Waiting:
Students will remain seated with their class and teacher while waiting for their turn. They may have a drink and cheer for other groups.

After the Run:
All students will gather for a group photo.

Supervision & Stations:
We have over 25 parent helpers assisting with spraying the children during the Rainbow Run. Staff will also be stationed at eight points to help spray powder.

Dismissal:
Students will return to their class area on the Green for dismissal by their teacher at 12:00pm. Parents will collect their child from the classroom teacher and then proceed to the child’s courtyard to collect backpacks.

Please note: There will be no access to classrooms or buildings after the Rainbow Run.

Tip: Remember to bring a bag so your car doesn’t get too messy on the way home!
