Reflecting on an Incredible Year
As we come to the close of another school year, we pause to celebrate the many achievements of our students. Their resilience, enthusiasm for learning and heart for service have been truly inspiring. Time and again, they have shown determination and a willingness to embrace challenges, reminding us of the bright future ahead.
We also want to acknowledge our amazing team of staff. Their passion, dedication and unwavering commitment to seeing every child achieve their very best is at the heart of everything we do. Thank you for the countless hours, creativity and care you pour into making our school a place where children thrive.
To our wonderful community, thank you for your support and trust. It is a privilege to be part of your child’s journey and to share in the “village” that surrounds them. Your partnership makes all the difference and we are deeply grateful.
Finally, we warmly invite all families to join us this Friday morning for our cherished tradition, the Living Nativity. This special event is a time to pause, come together as a community, and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Farewell and New Beginning Part 2
We would like to inform you of an additional staffing change for next year. Ms Anne Phillips, our wonderful Year 4 to 6 Music teacher, will be moving to our Duncraig Campus in a full-time capacity. We sincerely thank Ms Phillips for her outstanding contribution to our campus and wish her all the very best in this exciting new chapter.
We are delighted to welcome Miss Juliana Murray to our team, who will be taking the Year 4 to 6 Music classes in 2026.
Children University Graduation
Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating the Children’s University Graduation, and we couldn’t be prouder of all the students who committed to this program throughout the year. Their dedication and curiosity have been inspiring!
For those unfamiliar, the Children’s University program encourages students to engage in learning beyond the classroom through a wide range of activities and experiences. It’s all about fostering a love of lifelong learning and developing confidence, independence, and a sense of achievement.
A very special thank you goes to Dr Morris, who has led this program in partnership with ECU for many years with incredible dedication and care. Next year, Dr Morris will be handing over the reins to another staff member, and we’ll share more details about this transition in the new year.
Congratulations again to all our graduates, you’ve made us proud!

Join Us for Our Living Nativity This Friday!
We are delighted to invite our community to our cherished tradition, the Living Nativity on The Green, this Friday morning at 8:05am. This special event is a wonderful opportunity for us to pause during the busy season, come together as a community and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. It’s a time to share in fellowship, celebrate the story that brings us hope and enjoy the beauty of being part of something bigger than ourselves. We warmly welcome all families to join us for this memorable occasion.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Thank You for Your Generosity
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing community for your extremely generous food donations for the Uniting WA food hampers. We were truly overwhelmed by the response, and your kindness will help ensure that families who are not as fortunate as us can enjoy a lovely Christmas too.
Our high school students will now be busily putting the hampers together before they are delivered to Uniting WA.
Thank you!
Rainbow Run Final Reminder
To finish the year on a high, we will be holding a Final Assembly at approximately 10.30am in the Primary Forum, followed by a Fun Rainbow Run on The Green at around 11.00am on Friday 5 December. All parents are warmly invited to join us!
Key Details:
- Kindy students will be dismissed at 11:00am. Parents are welcome to accompany their child and join in the Fun Rainbow Run on The Green.
- Pre-Primary to Year 6 students will be dismissed at 12.00pm. They will remain under the supervision of their classroom teachers until dismissal; however, parents are warmly invited to stay and enjoy the excitement of our Fun Rainbow Run following the Assembly!
- Safety Note: We strongly encourage students to wear swimming goggles or glasses to protect their eyes. Staff will always endeavour to aim the powder from the waist down, but as this is a busy activity, we would rather play it safe.
It promises to be a fantastic way to wrap up our 2025 academic year! We recommend families bring a few spare garbage bags to protect car seats… students are sure to be a little messy after their run!
We look forward to celebrating this special day with you and ending the year with joy and community spirit!
