Term 3, Week 9

Dear Parents

We can’t believe this is the final Blog of Term 3! Another busy term in the life of SSS Carramar Primary and so many wonderful opportunities were able to be offered;  Languages Week, Year 1 Fairy-Tale Day, Pre-Primary 100 Days celebrations, Kindy Café Day, Year 4 excursion to the Shipwreck Museum, Year 5 Fremantle Prison excursion, Year 3-6 Champion Schools Cross-Country, Father’s Day preparations, French Day, Interhouse Athletics Carnival, Year 6 Market Day, Year 3 Camp, Fat Cat’s visit, NIPSAA Interschool Athletics, Tournament of Minds, Year 4 Parent iPad Information Evening, First Lego League training, and the many, many, many classroom learning activities on top of that!!! It’s been such a fun packed term, no wonder we can’t believe it’s already the end!

Next term is looking as busy (if not more!) with five year groups on Camp, Book Week, the Art Exhibition, our end of year celebrations….. and the list goes on and on 😊!

As the end of term is fast approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support as we navigate our way to ensure students keep enjoying all activities in a safe environment. We will keep you posted early next term as to the safety, health and hygiene measures that will be in place, moving forward, till the end of the school year.

Kind regards

Mr Roberts and Madame Pilote

TELETHON STAR

Congratulations Eamon Doak! A couple of weeks ago, we had a very special guest in our Primary School: Fat Cat!!! He came to announce at a special Assembly held in our Primary Forum that Eamon Doak will be one of this year’s Telethon Stars! We were asked to keep the secret till Channel 7 made the official announcement this week. Feel free to have a look at our St Stephen’s School FB page to see the announcement 😊. Congratulations Eamon, you will be an amazing Telethon Star!

YEAR 6 MARKET DAY

A big congratulations to our Year 6 students on their wonderfully successful Market Day last week!!! Students went above and beyond when it came to presenting their products and the variety of items for sale was very impressive, especially given the restrictions under which they had to work! Students raised a grand total of just over $1400 for the Autism Association, which was the choice of the Year 6 student body. Well done, Year 6s 😊!

WACFA SEASON

We had two U8 soccer teams this year – The Saints and The Saviours. The Saints team went on to win every game this season and enthusiastically renamed themselves the Invincibles! The children have thoroughly made the most of the opportunity and the teamwork, spirit and enthusiasm within the teams has been heartwarming to witness.

Once again, thank you for your support for a season that despite all the odds has been a fantastic one!
