Monday morning was spent in lessons and in the afternoon we went to Terre de Sel, the local salt marshes where the famous salt of Guérande is made. We had a tour of the marshes and the process of salt production was explained to us.
Friday was a bus trip to Piriac Sur Mer a traditional Breton fishing village. We walked the scenic streets before heading along the coastal path for a (long) walk to the next village before heading back to Guérande for Crêpes and Galettes!
Stay tuned for more updates! Looks like everyone is having a great time exploring France!
Well… after several years of planning and preparation, and several months of fevered excitement, the students finally departed Perth Airport and headed towards France for the experience of a lifetime.
There were lots of hugs from parents, lots of energy, passports in hand.
Remember this is the place where we will post updates from the Tour.
I bet you’re all getting REALLY excited now. The day of travel to France is finally here!
Please note the arrangements for today:
See you all at Perth Airport later!
