Friday was a bus trip to Piriac Sur Mer a traditional Breton fishing village. We walked the scenic streets before heading along the coastal path for a (long) walk to the next village before heading back to Guérande for Crêpes and Galettes!

Today we headed via train to Nantes the nearest biggest city with some of our French hosts. We started with a tour of a Chateau, then wandered through the town to see the city then on to Les machines a very cool exhibition. A very busy long day but lots of fun was had by all.

Well… after several years of planning and preparation, and several months of fevered excitement, the students finally departed Perth Airport and headed towards France for the experience of a lifetime.
There were lots of hugs from parents, lots of energy, passports in hand.

We’ve had a number of enquiries regarding the use of eSIM cards while on the French Tour.
We have been advised of the following:
An eSIM is sufficient for calling the school ‘phone.
Our ICT department will be installing WhatsApp on the device so we can create a parent group for contacting you while the group are in France. Students will be able to call the phone using data.
Can you please supply us with your child’s mobile number for us on school phone, only to add them to the group.
You may remember, from the last parent meeting held in Cousins Hall, that we went through the suggested packing list with you.
I’ve attached it to this post, as I’m sure there’ll be some last minute shopping going on this weekend and some eager packing of suitcases.
