I had a chat to the the tour operator, Glenn Urismo today. A couple of things to note…

1. the students should have their bathers and small towel in carry on luggage in case we swim at Cable Beach on arrival. There are change rooms at the beach.

2. there are USB charge points in every seat but you will need your own labelled cable.

3. pillows AND pillowcases are provided however you are welcome to bring your own pillowcase.

4. lately the weather at night has been very hot however he said that you should still bring a sleeping bag as the temperature can still drop. He said that it certainly would not need to be an extra warm sleeping bag.

5. I am yet to find out as to whether virgin allow a bag and sleeping bag separately. Glenn said that he has had trouble with that issue in the past and has simply duct taped the bags together and got away with it????

Hello all,

It has been decided that the meeting on Monday the 26th August will be a combined meeting of students and parents commencing at 6pm at Duncraig in The Community Room. This will allow for parents to arrive post work. It will be a brief meeting, answering any last-minute questions you may have and going through the itinerary and packing list one last time.

Morning all,

The final tour payment is due on 19th Aug. Could you please ensure that it is paid promptly so that we can settle all accounts prior to departure.

Kimberley Safari Tours have also advised us that you will not need to pack a sheet or pillow, they supply them. However a head torch would be useful.
