Our tour operator, Glenn Urismo, very kindly dropped into school on Monday to show the students their Kimberley transportation and their Kimberley sleeping arrangements. Glenn was about to start his long journey up to Broome before the season opening. He was able to share a few tips and thoughts and build excitement for our future travels.
All students had an opportunity to practice erecting a swag and tightly rolling it up again. Its a practice that I am sure they will master before our tour is over. There were a couple of students however that managed to get their swag looking like the images you see on the Anaconda catalogues. They will be popular students at the start of the tour.
It was great to get our team together and connect our Duncraig and Carramar tourers. No doubt there will be some strong friendships that form from this experience.
I will be in touch soon with future preparation dates and plans.
