Are you looking for easy IT tasks to set your students for Homework?
Here are some ideas….
Have students email you a photo of themselves doing something helpful in the community. Eg. Walking a neighbour’s dog or picking up rubbish at a local park.
Create a survey and email students the link to complete.
Find a YouTube video that covers a concept you are working on in class and ask students to watch it.
Set a task on Mathletics that revises a concept you have recently learned and have students complete it for homework.
Ask students to create a table (in Word or Pages) comparing 2 activities and their advantages and disadvantages. Eg. Reading a book vs watching TV.
Ask students to take an inventory of all the IT devices in their home (computers, iPads, smartphones etc) Ask them to rank them according to frequency of use and comment on their findings.
Have students design a new device that can be used for gaming inconspicuously.
Use wordle to display spelling focus words for the week.
