Congratulations to Mr Philpott and his wife on the arrival of a baby girl, Giulia Mary Emilia, born today at 2.25am, weighing  2.94 kg and measuring 49 cm.  Mum and Dad are totally in love with their new little bundle.

Don’t forget to book your tickets for the ELC Nativity and Awards afternoon being held on December 4. Performances are at 12:00 and 2:00pm and tickets are available through the online booking link below

Please note that there will be no tickets available at the door and for occupational health and for safety reasons we are legally NOT permitted to allow extra people to sit or stand in the theatre. I’m sure you will understand that anyone without a ticket will not be permitted to attend the performance.

Dear Parents 

We know it’s a busy time of year – but we couldn’t let this occasion go by without a celebration and gift.   Mrs Philpott is expecting a baby girl in the next few weeks!

If you would like to contribute towards a gift basket from our primary school families please leave your gift in the laundry hamper behind the community cafe (red couches) in the library.  (Ask the staff if you are unsure)

Let’s bless them with a baby hamper with all those necessary items for the first months, wipes, bibs, nappies, toys, books, clothes, a card will be in the hamper for your family to sign as you deliver your gift.

We will collect and package up, ready to give to him at assembly on the 27th November.

Please make your contribution to the hamper by Monday 23.11.15.

As this is a busy time of year- this is the only notification you will receive, so if you want to be included, please diarise:)

ELC SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ORDERS FOR TERM 4

Scholastic orders from Issue 7 are expected to arrive shortly.

Issue 8 catalogues will be distributed to students this week. Owing to the rapid approach of the end of school year, orders from this issue must be submitted by 9am Tuesday 17th November.

Books are ordinarily distributed direct to students via their class teachers. If any items are intended for Christmas gifts etc., please notify the co-ordinator by email duncraigelc.bookclub@gmail.com or text 0403939575 if you wish to collect your order privately.

Notice For the ELC

Save the Tasmanian Devils 

The Year One students are raising money for the Devil Island Project, which builds enclosures for healthy Tasmanian devils, to stop the spread of the deadly facial tumor disease, which is killing this iconic Australian animal.

This is a project of the students’ own design as a result of our Inquiry Learning into Endangered Animals. The students felt passionate to ‘change the world’ for these unique creatures.

Please bring in your spare change and place it in the tin at the front office. We will be collecting for the next two weeks.
