Welcome back
The 5 Keys
Over the course of Term 1, we have been reviewing the use and purpose of awards given out at assemblies. Starting next term, we will be using ‘The 5 Keys’ identified in the front of the student diaries as the basis for recognition for positive behaviour in the school. Mr Steven will be reviewing the keys (roughly one per term) with the students as part of the worship gatherings, giving students a clear idea of what each one means.
As a student shows these kinds of behaviours, members of staff are able to recognise their effort by adding a signature to the ‘keys’ table at the front of the student’s diary. Once five signatures are received for a particular key, the student will visit the Deputy of Primary for congratulations and to receive their key card. Once all five keys have been obtained, the student will be presented with a certificate at an upcoming worship session.
We look forward to recognising the wonderful behaviour that our students exhibit here at St Stephen’s.
Kind regards,
Hannah Lockwood-Jones and Jarrod Heglund
