Congratulations to our Novice debating team who won their debate on Tuesday 30 May against Duncraig Senior High School in the West Australian Debating League competition.

The topic of the debate was,  “That schools should prioritise the learning of indigenous languages over foreign languages” and we were the negative team. We created a compelling argument against this motion by stating that logistically this would be very difficult to implement, and there are more effective ways of teaching respect and understanding for Aboriginal culture.
