West is Best for Basketball Star

After making a striking impression on the WA basketball scene, Carramar Year 12 student Daniel Vlahov is ready to take on America’s west coast to fight for his spot in the big league. Daniel will jet off to the USA later this week to play as one of the only Australians in the Top 100 Junior Basketball try-outs. Read his story on our School website: https://bit.ly/2H9OAYk

St Stephen’s Global South Africa Service Tour

The South Africa Tour is off and running! Students and staff will work in schools and orphanages as part of the St Stephen’s Global South Africa Service Tour, recently taking part in a training workshop to prepare. This amazing opportunity will see them immersed in South African culture while working to improve the lives of underprivileged children. You can follow Mr Thomas, Miss Erasmus and the Tour on their blog: https://bit.ly/2q8Y24e

Twilight Tours

We just wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all the staff, students and families who helped to showcase the School on our inaugural Twilight Tours. We had a great turn out of prospective families at both our campuses and were able to show off what our school has to offer – from music performances, performing arts, sports, service learning, design and technology, VET, global tours and more. Our campuses came to life with activities and it was a great example of St Stephen’s commitment and celebrating all that we do.

Let’s Talk Business

It has been a busy term for Carramar’s Year 12 Certificate IV Business students, who have been studying marketing segmentation, strategies and tactics. As part of their studies, each student chose an organisation to assess and presented their promotional ideas in a marketing expo.

Valuable Visit

Our Year 7 students warmly welcomed Salvation Army staff to the Carramar campus recently, taking part in a workshop to better understand the issues surrounding homelessness in Perth. The Salvation Army staff encouraged our young learners to think compassionately and wisely to form a Christ-centred response to these complex issues.

Proverbs 19:17

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Anzac Day

The St Stephen’s School Carramar ANZAC service will be held between 7.30am and 8:15am, Friday 4 May on the grassed area near the Secondary Administration flagpole.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
