Captain Kirsten

Young golfing pro Kirsten Rudgeley (Carramar Year 12) can now add another feather to her cap, after being voted as Captain of the Western Australian team in the recent Women’s Australian Interstate Series. Not only has Kirsten dominated the Australian golfing scene, she’s set to jet off to Europe next month to compete in not one, but four golfing championships. Go Kirsten!

Carramar Senior Boys AFL

After a few false starts the Senior Boys AFL team were finally able to take the field in a game against Wanneroo Secondary High School. After a bright start the boys took an early lead but missed a couple of chances that then allowed Waneroo back into the game. The team was lively in the second half but the polish of the opposition meant that they were able to make the most of their opportunities.

Whilst the boys were not victorious, they displayed an entertaining brand of football and thoroughly enjoyed their game.

Taking Centre Stage

Six St Stephen’s School students have been recognised as some of Western Australia’s finest young drama students by the prestigious Black Swan State Theatre Company. Carramar’s Mia Kanzaki (Year 12), Clara Searle, Jade Johannes, Jenna Lane, Joel Glick (Year 11) and Adam Snyman (Duncraig Year 10) were selected as six of only 30 students from around WA to take part in the Company’s intensive two-day Work Experience Program.
