SERIOUS SWIMMERS

Fitness was the focus at the Carramar Secondary Swim Camp, with students alternating between swimming and circuit work to strengthen their skills. The group also trained in the open water at Mullaloo Beach and Hillary’s, making the most of the local facilities and the glorious weather!

FINE YOUNG ATHLETES

13 of Carramar’s finest cricketers, led by captain Rajit Bose and group leaders Oliver Williams, Munish Senghani and Milan Dabasia (Year 12), recently competed for the Graeme Wood 20/20 Shield. Despite not taking out the win on the day, the boys played exceptionally well, with Harry Klemm (Year 11) hitting some huge sixes and Ronan Fitzgerald (Year 10) bowling well and taking some great catches. Well done boys!

BEST FOOT FORWARD


In preparation for the St Stephen’s Global South Africa Service Tour, students and staff from both campuses are collecting pre-loved shoes to donate to local organisations and schools in South Africa. You can lend a hand by dropping off old shoes to any St Stephen’s School Reception area until March 20.

IN TUNE


Over 40 Carramar Secondary students celebrated the fifth annual Music Camp over the weekend, spending two days rehearsing for choir and a variety of ensembles. Their practice resulted in a concert for family and friends on Sunday! Students were also joined by St Stephen’s Alumni who shared their musical knowledge and skill.

LET THE ART SPEAK


A variety of colours, textures and mediums were on show for the opening of the 2019 Northern Perspectives art exhibition Friday 1 March, with Year 11 and 12 students from various local schools displaying their artwork.
An impressive 22 students from St Stephen’s exhibited their artwork, with Madeline McAllan (Carramar Class of 2018) taking home a Highly Commended award for her piece. The exhibition runs until Saturday 6 April at the Wanneroo Library.
