Little Doves Playgroup is a fun and free way to inspire little ones’ imagination, taking them on adventures through story-time, song, arts and crafts.
St Stephen’s School Carramar’s Collinson Library will pilot a new early literacy program from Term 3. We aim to welcome young families from the local community to join us in our love of story and rhyme.
Parents, Carers and children are welcome to book their place in the Little Doves program, named after the Dove in the School’s crest. It runs as part of a six-week program. However guests can book week-to-week to fit their schedules. We will be finishing with a lovely Teddy Bear’s Picnic in the School’s sprawling grounds.
This program is ideal for children up to three/four years-old. All families booked into this program will have access to the library’s borrowing facilities.
Sessions will be held in the Carramar Collinson Library on Thursday at 9am. They start on 15th August and run each week until 19th September.
Guests are asked to register their interest in each session via Trybooking to allow us to plan our activities accordingly. For more information go to: www.trybooking.com/BCXFK.
“A St Stephen’s School education encourages children to imagine, be curious and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of the world,” Principal, Mrs Donella Beare said.
“Little Doves Playgroup will be the perfect way to spark children’s’ inquisitive nature, learning language and communication skills in asocial setting.”
