2020 Student Allowances – Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) – Extension update

The State Government, through the Department of Education, provides financial support to eligible parents through the Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS). The aim of the scheme is to assist low   income families with secondary schooling costs. Eligible parents/guardians with students enrolled in Years 7-12 studying a full-time secondary course in Western Australia non government school will   be able to apply for the Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) in 2020.

You may be eligible for up to: $350 towards school expenses

If you hold a

  • Centrelink Health Care Card or Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran’s Affairs Pensioner Concession card, you may be eligible to apply

THANKSGIVING 2020

 

The Federal Government today advised against any organised events with more than 500 attendees in relation to stemming the community transfer cases of Coronavirus (COVID 19). In accordance with the Government’s advice, and to protect the health and wellbeing of our School community, we have decided to postpone the Thanksgiving Service, which was planned for March 31, until further notice.

We thank you for your ongoing support of our School events and will be in touch with more information when we know it is safe to proceed.

Year 10 students from Carramar and Duncraig got to work at Bunnings Whitfords this week ahead of an exciting adventure! Students set to travel on the South Africa Service Tour learnt some handy skills in       preparation for the trip, where they will help with building projects at JJ Haven Orphanage.

MUSIC MASTERS

Last weekend’s Carramar Music Camp gave 70 students from Years 6-12 the opportunity to participate in a three-day music masterclass.

Students were able to strengthen their ensemble abilities, teamwork skills and friendships over the weekend, which was topped off with a concert for family and friends.
