Sustainable School Shop – Secondhand Textbooks

TRADING SYSTEM

St Stephen’s School is delighted to inform you of the School’s new initiative to provide parents with the ability to trade second-hand items via the Sustainable School Shop website: www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au

When registering on the Sustainable School Shop you need to nominate St Stephen’s School to receive your free subscription.

For the best results:
• Register on the Sustainable School Shop website
• List your items for sale
• List wanted ads for those items you are looking to buy
• The school’s booklists are loaded into the system to make listing ads easy
• The system matches the ads of buyers with sellers and notifies the buyer via email
• Parents are well supported via Sustainable School Shop’s telephone (0438 743 444) and email help lines.

We are very excited about this new initiative being offered to parents and we hope you will make the most of the opportunity to annually recycle your student’s school items.

Our Year 9 students are absolutely loving their Outdoor Ed camp at Rottnest! They’ve been busy exploring the Island and snorkelling the beautiful surrounding reef.

Tour to Remember

Running from 23 November – 6 December 2019, students will volunteer at Woodstock School, trek the foothills of the Himalayas and explore India’s rich culture.

We invite our current Year 11 students and their families to an India Tour Information Evening.

Cricket Champs

Following their success last week, we are pleased to say the Carramar Year 10 Girls Cricket Team have finished as the Runners-Up in the State Finals of the MILO T20 Blast! Well done girls!

Surf’s Up!

Carramar’s Year 10 students made the most of the sunny weather last week, heading up to Lancelin for their Outdoor Ed camp. As well as catching some waves, the students tried their hand at fishing, camp cooking and a few beach games.

Everyday Hero

Much-loved Carramar Year 1 Teacher Hannah Lockwood-Jones has just received a Valued Teacher Award from ADHD WA. Hannah was nominated by a parent for always going above and beyond in the classroom to make a difference in the lives of her students. Thank you Hannah, for everything you do!

Fun for Young and Old

Our School was transformed into a colourful carnival last Saturday for the 2018 St Stephen’s School Fete, complete with games, rides, stalls, performances and lots of yummy food! Thank you to all the parents, students, staff and community members who worked extremely hard to make the Fete a day to remember.
