ROOKIE DEBATING

Rounding off a successful semester, our debating students brought their A-game to the stage in the Rookie Debating Grand Final last term. In a cross-campus battle, Duncraig were victorious while Carramar’s Luke Shirdon took out the Best Speaker award. Congratulations on an awesome debating season!

WORKS OF ART

Carramar’s Year 11 ATAR Visual Art students recently had the pleasure of hosting Rachelle Dusting – Fine Art in class for the third time. Rachelle is a talented Western Australian oil painter who runs workshops with students, focussing on colour temperature, form and contrast. Check out their amazing work!

ETHICS OLYMPIAD

The use of online data algorithms, freedom of speech in the digital age and promoting unrealistic beauty standards to children were just some of the topics discussed by students at Perth’s first Ethics Olympiad. A group of Carramar Year 10  students were exceptional representatives for St Stephen’s School, presenting a variety of viewpoints and opinions on the day.
