Duncraig and Carramar teacher Dr Mark Fielding has received a scholarship to further his professional development and enhance the education sector. Dr Fielding, Director of Global Programs at St Stephen’s School, was awarded one of six national $5000 scholarships by NGS Super. The awards help teachers, support and management staff of non government schools to pursue their  professional goals and make an impact on the wider education sector. Dr Fielding was awarded the scholarship to further enhance St Stephen’s School’s partnership with two indigenous schools – Yiyili and Purnululu Aboriginal Schools – as part of its commitment to building education opportunities and reconciliation in the East Kimberly region. “Our goal was to establish permanent and  meaningful partnerships with Yiyili and Purnululu Schools that were mutually beneficial to all involved,” Dr Fielding said.
