There will be a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Mindarie on Monday, 2nd March to raise money for the Year 11 Bethany Home Tour to Malaysia. It would be great if any parents or families who are in the area could come and meet those going on the tour and buy a pristine barbequed sausage while they are there to help the cause.
A group of Year 11 girls from Carramar and Duncraig spent their school holidays making a difference at Bethany Home in Malaysia. Students helped the children with their aerobics, motor skills, physical education and arts and crafts, while also taking the time to create a beautiful Peter Pan mural. The Tour no doubt forged close friendships and created memories the girls will never forget.
On Friday, 23 March the Bethany Home 2018 Tour Team participated in a sausage sizzle fundraiser at Bunnings, Joondalup. The money raised will support the work at Bethany Home for disabled children in Malaysia. The lovely Bethany Home teachers & staff, who are visiting Australia for professional development, came to sample the Aussie hot dogs.
