Visit to Curtain University Chemistry Labs for the Year 12s

Yesterday, the Year 12  Chemistry students spent the day at Curtin University in the Chemistry labs. They got real life and hands on experience of chemistry at uni and in industry. They participated in a recrystallization laboratory, activities run by forensic chemists and toured the campus. They were also given a presentation by the ChemCentre and got a taste of the different roles that the ChemCentre are involved in.

John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship 2018

The John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship 2018 is now open for nominations. The scholarship is for academically gifted students (in the top 5% of students) who have excelled in a wide range of endeavours and have lent their talents and energies to the community around them. Candidates must demonstrate John Curtin’s qualities of vision, leadership, and community service.
