Christmas Appeal

October 22, 2018

Can you believe Christmas is only two months away?! Our School is once again supporting the UnitingCare West Christmas Appeal this year, supporting those who are disadvantaged in our community. Our community is encouraged to donate any food items from the list below, dropping the items to students’ classrooms or homerooms.

Donations open today and will remain open until the end of Week 7.

Christmas Blessings

December 25, 2017

Wishing our community a safe and blessed Christmas. There’s no better time to unwind, relax and spend time with family during this special time.

From the Deputy Head of Secondary

December 6, 2016

As the first term of a new academic year draws to a close, I would like to thank our staff and families for their contribution to the life and spirit of our community. It is your involvement in the school that gives St Stephen’s its liveliness.

This term our students received their Interim Academic reports and their Homeroom Personal Review report. These provide the opportunity for reflection, review and goal setting for the remainder of the academic year. I hope that our students would be able to see the importance of considering not just their academic goals, but also personal goals in areas such as social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.  Please use the ongoing feedback that you receive from teachers through SEQTA and in classes to plan the year ahead.

The upcoming break will give you chance to draw together as a family and to spend time with each other. I hope that all families in our community will have at least a small window of time and space to rest and rejuvenate.

Best wishes for a happy and holy Christmas.

Dr Liz Criddle

Deputy Head of Secondary.
