Hello Students,
I hope you had a great break relaxing, and for those with exams coming up, I hope you got a bit of study in – only 91 days until departure!
I have heard some fantastic news from students fundraising efforts over the holidays, in particular a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle which proved very profitable – well done to Paige, Akayla, Lilly, Meg and Luke.
Our next Vietnam meeting is going to take place during lesson 5 and 6 on Tuesday October 15th at the Carramar Campus so that we all lodge the paperwork for our Vietnam Visa. Duncraig students, can you please meet Mrs Freeman at the turning circle straight after lesson 4 (bring your bag and lunch with you) so that we can head to the Carramar campus. You will be dropped back at the Duncraig campus around 4pm. I will post a meeting spot at Carramar for everyone on the blog over the next few days so please keep an eye on your emails for an alert.
You will all need to bring:
- an electronic scanned copy of the data page of your passport saved onto your computer
- an electronic scanned copy of a passport photo saved onto your computer
- a card to pay the $25 fee for the visa (unless it has gone up since March)
- a charged laptop
If you are not sure how to scan the passport or passport photo, then please bring them to school and we can show you ow to do this.
Students, I have provided a link below to a PowerPoint for you to have a look at in advance to see what information is required.
Can you all please bring a pen as we will continue planning our English lessons after the visa.
If you have any questions then please let me know.
Kind regards,
Mr Merrifield
