Updates

Good Morning team

Hope everyone is well.

So it’s starting to get closer now, and we need to ensure we are all on track.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Scarlett, Duke, Patrick and Lucas for stepping in last min to help out last Wednesday at the Junior music performance.

17th September is the senior Music concert at Duncraig will need to be there from about 6 – 8:30pm to be confirmed. Please let me know if you are able to help out on that evening ( comment below). We are looking at those who haven’t helped out yet! Also, regardless of whether you can actually be there, we need you all to bring donations to sell. Again, thanks to those who have provided things – if you haven’t, it’s time to step up!

Visa’s

Well done, I believe a fair few of you have now had your Visas approved. Please make sure you send a copy to the teachers so we can save them all together.

For those of you at Duncraig that still need to apply, please come to A1 tomorrow (WEDNESDAY) at recess with …….

  • A card for payment- we have found that credit cards have been the most successful.
  • A saved copy of your passport info page.
  • A saved photo – Headshot of yourself – not a copy of your passport photo.

Fundraising

Well done to those of you who have completed your fundraising and have paid the money into accounts.

I will be doing a final check at the end of this week and will be needing some answers if you haven’t completed your $500.

If you have done it and just need to pay the money in, please please please do it ASAP.

Lesson planning

We will need to catch up and finish the lesson plans. Please come and see me if you would like your folder to keep working on your lessons and resources. We will catch up as a group to finalise all the lessons and check you have all your resources. This cannot be left until last min.

I think that’s all for now. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out.

Thanks again for all your efforts. This is going to be an amazing trip.

Hey team

Hope everyone is well.

So as I mentioned previously, we all need to get together as time is moving fast, and we need to get some things organised

Please can you all attend Duncraig campus in the community room on Friday, 30th May at 9am (I’ve given you a little lie in).

Carramar students, if you need a lift to Duncraig, please comment below, and I can organise the service learning bus for you.

We should be finished by about 12:30.

On Friday, we will be covering the following

  • Planning of the lessons
  • Checking off fundraising
  • Planning the paintings for the walls
  • Starting to process Visas – If you have your current passport, please bring it with you and a bank card to pay for your Visa.

Please comment below with your attendance, and if you need a lift from Carramar, please.

Thanks, Mrs Freeman

Fundraising

Hey Team

Hope everyone is well. I know it’s a busy time of year for everyone, but please can I ask that you start bringing your fundraising money into accounts at school. Even if it’s not the full $500, that’s ok. So far, we haven’t received a single cent in the school account, which is a little concerning. I’m sure you all are well on the way to completing it, but you just haven’t paid it into the account yet.

If any of you have any issues or haven’t started yet, please let me know ASAP.

Good luck to those of you on exams.

Thanks

Mrs Freeman
