Vietnam Cross Campus Meeting March 20

Dear all,

Please disregard this if you have received a previous Blog. From my end it doesn’t seem to have been sent.

A cross campus meeting for the entire tour group will be held on March 20, 9am until 12pm. A guest speaker from the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia of WA will be in attendance to speak to you about the Vietnam War and the impact it had on the Vietnamese people and the returned veterans.

(Carramar students-you will be transported to Duncraig and back)

You will also work on the educational activities that you will be carrying out with the kindergarten students in Hue. If time allows we will commence the Vis application process.

Prior to the meeting could you please email Mrs Freeman with the amount of fundraising that you have achieved to date along with your planned fundraising activities.

As previously requested, could you please forward a copy of your passport to Mr Merrifield if you have not already done so.

Regards

Vietnam Tour Staff

Passport Information Page

Afternoon All,

I hope you have all had a good start to the year and you’re beginning to get excited about the Vietnam Tour – it will come around fast!

With this in mind, I am asking you all to please email me (adam.merrifield@ststephens.wa.edu.au) a scanned copy of your passport information page. Can you please ensure this is clear so that I do not have to email you back asking for a better copy. If you don’t have a scanner at home then I am sure you could bring your passport into school and one of the teachers can show you how to do it on the photocopier.

Alternatively, there is an app called “Microsoft Lens” that is pretty good and takes a photo from any angle and alters it as if was taken from directly above. If you do not have a passport then can you please action this ASAP as the airline, as well as the visa application process, require passport copies well in advance.

If you have any queries then please let me know.

Kind regards,

Mr Merrifield
