Following a successful trial last year, two new lockable charging stations have been designed and built from Perspex.

These are now available for staff and student use in The Collinson Library at each campus. While most staff and students charge their devices overnight, there are occasions when they are caught out and need a ‘top up’ to get them through the day.

It is not uncommon to see students charging their devices at lunchtime while they enjoy using the other facilities available from the library.

Each charging station provides access to both iPad and laptop chargers as well as different options for mobile phones.  Just another example of the library fostering student learning.
