On Monday, we were very fortunate to have authors Leigh Hobbs and Coral Tulloch visit both our Duncraig and Carramar primary school libraries to work with our children sharing their picture books.
Leigh Hobbs, is the best-selling author of more than 20 books, including the iconic Old Tom, Mr Chicken Goes to Paris and Horrible Harriet has been the Australian Children’s Laureate for 2016 – 2017.
Coral Tulloch has illustrated over 50 fiction and non-fiction books for children, in Australia and internationally. As well as having a passion for environmental education, Coral loves Antarctica, which she visits when she can as artist-in-residence on tourist voyages.
The authors were wonderful and our children were fantastic. A great super day for all.
