Each year across Australia, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Book Week. During this time schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children’s literature.

On Friday 18th August, the winners were announced from the shortlist of books in each category.
The libraries at St Stephen’s School celebrated in a variety of ways, with character parades, “Story Night In” and static displays.
