Co Curricular Clubs commence this week – ELC Clubs are full, some space left for 3-6 club
Dear Community,
We hope this newsletter finds you well as we dive into the fourth week of Term 2. It has been an eventful time at our school, filled with exciting activities and accomplishments from our students.
Cross Country Success:
We are thrilled to announce the success of our recent Cross Country events, which saw enthusiastic participation from students across Years 3 to 6 and our younger students at the Early Learning Centre. It was wonderful to witness the determination and sportsmanship displayed by all participants. Congratulations to every student who took part, and a special mention to those who helped organise and run these events.
Mother’s and Special People Day Celebrations:
As Mother’s Day approaches, we are eagerly preparing to celebrate and honour the incredible mothers and important people in our students’ lives. At our school, we recognise that in a family there are many special people who play significant roles in our students’ lives. Whether it’s grandparents, aunts, uncles, or family friends, we want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of all these special individuals.
Co curricular clubs
We are excited to kick off the Co-Curricular Activities this week! These activities are a wonderful opportunity for students to learn new things, develop positive social skills and enjoy being a part of the broader St Stephen’s School community.
Following last week’s issues with the booking system, a thorough review is being conducted with some adjustments being made ready for Term 3. Places have now been allocated for Term 2, based on the time of your first booking. Notifications regarding club placements have been sent out via email, confirming your child’s enrolment or placement on the waitlist.
All confirmed Club bookings are for the full 6-week duration, and we encourage consistent attendance to maximise the benefit for all participants. Your child’s active involvement will greatly contribute to the success of the club.
We still have a few spots available in the following clubs for Primary students (Years 3-6). If you haven’t already received confirmation for a Club, please click here to make a booking: Bookwhen
Hockey (Years 3-6)
Wellbeing (Years 3-6)
Lego (Years 3-6)
Floorball (Year 6 only)
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a rewarding term of Co-Curricular activities.
Warm regards,
Hannah Lockwood-Jones & Andrew Johnston
HAVE A HEART FOR THE HOMELESS
There’s a definite chill in the air, isn’t there? When you’re snuggling down in bed, spare a thought for the more than 9700 West Australians experiencing homelessness every night. You can make a difference by contributing to the Sonshine 98five “Heart for the Homeless” campaign which runs from 6 – 24 May. We’re pleased to be accepting donations at administration buildings on both campuses. Between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday. You can drop off new and clean sleeping bags, fleece blankets, warm clothing and hygiene products. Thank you for helping in whatever way you can.
