Staff Update

Later this week, Mr Parker will be going on the school tour to the Kimberleys until the end of term. He will then be starting his long service leave, which will see him away from school until the start of next year. We wish Mr Parker a wonderful and well-deserved break and look forward to him returning in 2025.

In the meantime, I am delighted to introduce Miss Kahliah Nicol, who will be taking his place teaching PE to the students across Years 2 – 6. Miss Nicol is joining us having just completed a position teaching PE at Ashdale College. She started with us today and has met several of the classes already. She will continue to work alongside Mr Parker, before taking over when he departs for the school tour.

Warm regards

Scholastic Book Club – Year 3-6 Co-Ordinator – VACANCY

The Primary Library is on the hunt for a new parent volunteer to help run the Primary 3-6 Scholastic Book Club

Firstly many, many thanks to our previous Co-ordinators, Rebecca Jacob and Urvi Wadia who have helped earn the school valuable points with their wonderful efforts.  The students love browsing the catalogue and purchasing their favourite books.

Every Scholastic order earns points for the school which are used to fund our Literacy Pro program and to purchase other essential teacher resources.

The Co-ordinator works with Primary Library staff open each Issue online so orders can be placed and then closes it off to submit the orders to Scholastic. When the orders arrive, the Co-ordinator or library staff distributes to the classes.

For further information speak with Rebecca and Urvi and Primary Library staff.
