YEAR 12s NEW LOOK
//Year 12s were eager to try their new leaving jackets on when they were delivered across our campus last week.
LEST WE FORGET
//Ahead of the ANZAC long weekend, our community was lucky enough to hold special ANZAC commemoration services; paying respects to the men and women who served our country in the ANZAC Services and fought for our freedom. It was wonderful to have members of Parliament and Council join parents, staff and students to reflect through song, speech and silence.
ACC Championship Basketball

Our Senior Boys and Year 9 Boys basketball teams have progressed to the ACC Championship based on their results in Term 1.
The Senior Boys will compete in their playoff game next Wednesday 28th April at 4pm in the gym against John XXIII College. Please come down and support them if you can! I think they were buoyed by the amount of support they had in their final game last term.
The Year 9 Boys will play their quarter final next Thursday 29th April at 12:30pm at Leschenault Leisure Centre (Australind) against Our Lady of Mercy College.
Careers EXPO 2021
//Our Careers Expo will feature an array of post-school options for students to explore. Representatives from universities, businesses and training providers will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about pathways beyond school.
THEY’RE OFF
//This year’s Lou Morrison Kimberley Service Learning Tour group have set off on their adventure. We wish them all the best as they explore the north of WA and look forward to hearing about their meaningful experiences on their return.
GREATEST SHAVE
//A staggering $16,775 has been raised by our community in support of the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave! Duncraig staff and students braved the shave today – celebrating an amazing fundraising tally which will help families across Australia dealing with blood cancers. Adjudicator Training
//After a long and demanding term, It was so good to see how willing staff were to give more of their valuable time to helping students improve and refine their debating skills. Jacob Kerspien (class of 2015) came to share his vast knowledge of debating with St Stephen’s School staff.
Another Win
//Year 9 boys CAS Basketball team, who emulated the Senior boys, and were crowned CAS Champions last night.
A slightly different format meant, they had to win by a margin of 40 points (a tough ask) to be guaranteed the title and as you can see by the scoreboard they achieved this in style!
This would have been their third title in as many years, if it wasn’t for COVID -19, having only lost one game during this time.
