This is an opportunity for you to hear about future pathways, subject offerings, and to discuss queries with Heads of Learning Area. To assist in planning this event, it would be appreciated if you could RSVP here:- Discussion of pathways in Education Plus
- Exploration of interests, personality types and values matched to possible occupations via the School Careers Website
- Attending presentations by our Heads of Learning Area
The Year 11 and 12 Curriculum Handbook is available in the Parent Portal and SEQTA on the Documents page. This contains valuable information about subject prerequisites, course selections and pathway options.
After the Information Evening the following events should also help students to make the right decisions (more information on these will be provided):- Visits to Tertiary Institutions during LIFT Week in the last week of term
- The Semester 1 report
- Student/Parent/Teacher Interviews for Year 10 students on Monday 1 August
- All Year 10 students have an individual subject counselling interview at the beginning of Term 3 where we will enter final subject preferences. If someone has not met the prerequisite for a particular course, then they must speak with the Head of Learning Area about this prior to this meeting
