LITTLE FEET FESTIVAL FUN

We had a fantastic day in the St Stephen’s School Craftorium at the City of Joondalup’s Little Feet Festival. The sun was shining, and you could feel the excitement in the air as children tested their hula hooping skills with Happy Healthy Hoops Perth and created paper plate animal masks. Thank you to our staff and community who volunteered and visited us. We hope you had a fun circus-themed day out, we certainly did!

Parent Seqta Workshop Reminder

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for your interest and booking your place to attend the Seqta Workshop next Monday evening, 1 November 2021. This workshop will explain the SEQTA suite and include a live demonstration on how to navigate the platform.  Parent and carers will learn how to look at lesson content, where to view assessment results, how to upload documents (so you can assist your student when they need to submit an assessment on SEQTA), where to view important notices an much more.

As per the original invitation we will be commencing at 6:30pm and aim to finish by 8:00pm.  Please note that we have changed the location of the meeting to the Community Room (this room is attached to the Library and nearest to the turning circle).

This will be an interactive workshop so please bring a device with access to the internet so you can follow along, a laptop or iPad/tablet would work better than your phone.

For parents who missed out on booking a place please RSVP by Thursday 28 October to Tina Welch 9243 2410.

Academic Group’s Head Start Program

The transition at the beginning of every year is an extremely challenging time for most students. The better prepared they are, the more likely it is they’ll reach their academic goals. Successes or failures experienced during this transitional period will impact on their future performance.

Academic Group’s Head Start Program is specifically designed to pave the way for Year 11 and 12 school success. It provides a refresher for students who commenced the new year’s work in Term 4 and an overview/preview of the syllabus and important concepts for those students yet to start.

Study Skills & Essay Writing programs where students can learn effective study methods, time management, goal setting, reading strategies, stress management techniques and a proven formula to write essays in all learning areas.
