Year 7, 8 and 9 Reporting Day

The Student-Parent-Teacher Interviews for Year 7, 8 and 9 students will be held on Monday 26 July. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress with their teachers. We encourage students to be present to participate in the interview. Semester One reports will be published during the term break, and additional information and comments about specific assessment results are available throughout the year via your SEQTA Engage login – in preparation for the interview, please ensure you have accessed your child’s SEQTA assessment records and reviewed these with your child.
There will be two sessions: 8:00am – 1:00pm and 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Within these time frames, you will be able to book 8 minute interviews with each class teacher. The interviews will be held in the Glenda Parkin Learning Centre (Year 7 Building). Please note if for some reason a teacher is not available on the day their name will not be listed on the Bookings information, and you will receive an email from the teacher to organise an alternative time. Please speak to your child and check their timetable to ensure you book with the most relevant teacher for classes with more than one teacher. To book your interview time please go to: www.ststephens.wa.edu.au.
Then:
  • Login to the Parent Portal
  • Plan the Term: Select ‘Interview Booking’
  • Login to EdInfo (select ‘Login’)
  • Synergetic Management System: Select ‘Interview’
  • Select ‘Interview timetable’
  • Print Timetable
The booking system will close on Wednesday 21 July. If you have difficulty accessing the bookings, please contact the Parent Helpdesk on 9243 2160. When booking interviews, you are welcome to book with as few or as many teachers as you wish. A few teachers have so many classes they might be booked out. If this is the case and you wish to make an interview time, please email the teacher and let them know your available times for an in-person or telephone interview.

UWA Visit- LIFT Week

As part of LIFT Week, a group of Y10 students spent an engaging day at UWA in Crawley. They listened attentively to a lecture on courses and pathways, they had a guided tour of the campus and in the afternoon they worked in groups to construct towers from polystyrene cups, elastics bands, sticks and string which taught them the importance of management, communications, creative thinking and critical thinking.

SHAKESPEARE AT SCHOOL

Bell Shakespeare performed MacBeth – The Rehearsal to a captivated audience of Year 10s and Year 11 and 12 Drama and Literature students in the theatre last week. It was a great introduction to the text for Year 10s who will studying the play next term.
