//Akayla Fairclough, Year 9, won a gold medal in the U13/14 girls beach sprint relay, with her team. She also made it to the final of the individual girls U14 beach sprint. She placed 7th in that race, i.e. 7th in the country.
//The Year 10 Marine and Maritime Studies students had the opportunity to participate in a SCUBA Try Dive at AQWA, allowing them to experience the marine environment up close and personal. The students also got to experience the joy of SCUBA diving for the first time, helping them decide if that is something they would be interested in doing in upper school, as part of the Marine and Maritime Studies ATAR or General programs.
