Hello Team,
Thank you for attending the meeting today and hope that those who are ill make a speedy recovery. Thank you for sharing your fundraising plans and progress to date. Can I say that we have a very motivated team and well done to all of you.
As discussed at the meeting there are some dates available for Mitre 10 Sausage Sizzles and as explained, these can be big earners. I have shared the details below for you and please contact Nikki Tremain direct. She is very helpful.
Thoseat have collected money, or have completed their fundraising, could you please hand that in to Reception at Carramar and Student Services at Duncraig in an envelope with your name and name of tour clearly printed on it.
A Consent 2 Go will be emailed to you all shortly for your parents to approve our visit to the State Library Of West Australia to see the Sam Lovell Exhibition on June 26th. Can I suggest that before we visit, you do some research about Sam Lovell, he is a legendary pioneer of the Kimberley.
Don’t forget the next team meeting is next Wednesday 18th. I will be in the Kimberley visiting Manjali and look forward to sharing details of my visit with you soon.

Cash float
EFTPOS facility (Square Reader). If you don’t have this you can borrow our work one on the day. First, Download the Square Reader App to your phone and complete the set up with your bank details and price lists. On the day you will need to pair your phone to the square reader by going into your Square Reader app on your phone, selecting More at the bottom of the screen, from here go into Settings and then Hardware….
To pair your phone to the square reader: Make sure your Bluetooth is on, hold the button on the square reader and it will pair to your phone. From here customers can tap the reader or they can tap on your phone. The funds will go directly into your bank account early the following week.
If you are looking for a place to purchase your rolls:
Prauge Bakery in Kingsley are favourites and their rolls are amazing. Tell them you are running a fundraiser sausage sizzle at Atkinsons Mitre 10 and they will give you a very good price. 50-55c a roll.
Also, the Spudshed in Joondalup will do a good price for the groups here at Atkinsons Mitre 10. For their Golden West Bakery 12 pack of rolls, $5.49. This is 40c a roll – they need 3 days notice. Also very nice rolls.
You are also welcome to provide other items for sale to help with your fundraiser such as lollie bags, cupcakes, cookies or you can even run a raffle.
No fresh creams are to be used ontop of baked goods, or the supply of baked goods that require refrigeration due to our health and safety permit. Please provide an ingredients list for your baked goods. If they are baked from a packet cake or cookie mix, you can just cut out the list from the back of the box and display it on the table.
Putting up some signage or providing some information about your organisation is also advised, or the reason for your fundraising.
We suggest ringing a few of the local the supermarkets to see if they will donate some items to you. Your profits will be higher if you have a portion of it donated.
Warmest regards
Nikki Tremain
