Art Technician Claire Davenhall has an exhibition piece on show at the Rockingham Foreshore.
This work explores the concept of lost soles, the inhuman amounts of people who have boarded boats in search for better a life, the lost soles, drifting in a sea of knowledge, with a school of thought in a vessel of hope… Its made from found objects, set in marine grade resin with a special pigment that contains prisms, it glistens in the sunlight to represent a glimmer of hope. The back is painted in a colour shifting green and gold custom made paint that symbolizes the national colors of Australia.
