REIGNING CHAMPS

The Senior Boys Cricket Team were the team to beat before all matches were stopped earlier this year. They’ve now finished at the top of their pool and rank third out of 37 schools across the state. Though the usual celebrations aren’t able to take place, we are super proud of the boys and their efforts this year.

Year 11 Food Science and Technology students are continuing to impress with their evolving culinary skills and knowledge. Their latest creation: pink poached pears with rice pudding and a toffee garnish. Yum!

CREATIVE CLASS

May 22, 2020

Year 7 French students have been thinking outside the box to practise their French this week. Learning the French words for school subjects, days of the week and times, students have been doing a running dictation activity outside.

Mastermind Australia

May 19, 2020

Mastermind Australia will be delivering Revision and Exam Preparation Programs in the July school holidays.

The programs will be held at Christ Church Grammar School and Guildford Grammar School in the first week of the holidays, and at Hale School, MLC, Quinns Baptist College and Ashdale Secondary College in the second week. An online virtual classroom program will also be held over both weeks.

ACHIEVEMENTS REWARDED

The four athletes enrolled in the Elite Athlete Program received recognition for their hard work at a small presentation this morning. They have all adapted exceptionally well during these times and are now looking forward to when they can return to their normal training sessions!

After lots of communication with parents and staff over recent weeks, Principal Donella Beare sat down with some students to hear about their different online learning experiences.
