Dear Parents
As many of you know, one of the key drivers for our school is service. One such area of service our school is most fortunate to provide is our overseas service learning program. This program enables our students the chance to serve, learn and experience other countries in a way they would never be able to do anywhere else.
One such opportunity is our service learning program in Cambodia. This program is only possible through the work of an organisation called RAW Impact. This organisation is powered primarily through volunteers and its regular source of funding comes mostly from generous donations and school trips, like ours. This year due to the COVID crisis and no international travel, it has been a very tough year for RAW, financially. Our ability to provide this specific service learning opportunity to our students depends totally on the survival of this organisation. We need to ensure that this organisation can survive through the next 12 months.
I have attached a link to a video put together by its founder and director, Troy Roberts, which explains a little of their current state and how they plan to dig in and continue to make an impact during this time. Please feel free to take a few minutes to watch the video and maybe peruse their website.

I have also placed a link below, to enable our Schools parents, friends and other families to donate directly to RAW Impact and encourage RAW that we are behind them. Please have a look at what they do and the opportunity that our students will get when their time comes to apply to go to Cambodia. It is an amazing and powerful overseas tour which students have found to be utterly life changing.
Together we can still drive powerful change and support this wonderful organisation and make sure they are still around for our students for many years to come. To show your support, simply click the link below, make any amount of donation to the St Stephens Duncraig Team page and it will go directly to RAW Impacts Sidekick Project being run in late November.
