SHINING BRIGHT

Congratulations to Aaron Bright (Year 12) who graduated with the Motivation Foundation at a ceremony last Friday. Trained in Civil Construction, Aaron has secured a position with Ertech which could see him travel to Barrow Island as a FIFO worker. All the best, Aaron!

WAAPA Summer School 2020

This summer WAAPA is thrilled to be able to offer an exciting school holiday program at our campus in Mount Lawley. There are classes for students from Year 1 to Year 12 in drama, acting, screen performance, film making, music theatre and of course Shakespeare. Containers for Change

St Stephen’s School has partnered with Good Sammy, who is an official collection organisation for the Containers for Change launched on October 1 this year.

Please collect eligible containers and help provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Our bins are located at:

Carramar Primary – entrance to Reception and near the Nurses office

CREATIVE VISION

Our campus is currently bursting with colour and creativity after the Synthesis Exhibition was officially opened last night! Congratulations to our Art, Design and Technologies students for another year of dedication to their craft.

The Exhibition will be open to the public until October 28.

Y10 Mentoring

Here are some pictures of the Y10 mentors working with the Y7s.

Their aim was to build positive relationships and help ease the transition for Y7s into the larger House groups next year.

They had a lot of fun getting to know one another, playing games, having a

treasure hunt and exploring their new house.

The Y10s cannot wait for their Y7s to join them in the big house!

CITY VISIT

Year 7 students soaked up the sunshine when they visited Elizabeth Quay last term to conduct their first Geography Field Trip. Students made observations of the different precincts to assess the liveability of the development.

The Little Feet Festival is ready to launch at

Edith Cowan University (ECU) Joondalup on Sunday 25 October! Blast off on an adventure into outer space with a range of fun activities and performances. This year’s festival features the Exploration Station, which comes courtesy of

CAPTAINS ASSEMBLE

The sun was shining for the whole school assembly this morning where the Captains for 2021 were announced, the groups proudly standing at the front of their cohort, excited to lead their Houses in the new year.
Congratulations also to students who were presented with awards this morning, following the Alliance Française Examination earlier this year. Special mention to Camille Tessier who got the highest mark in WA for Year 9 background speaker of French in the Alliance Francaise 2020 examinations.
