Raring and ready to get to work, a group of Year 12 students and staff have travelled to Cambodia these holidays, joining RAW Impact to build an entire bamboo house in a local village. The group have been fully immersed in the Cambodian culture, working alongside Khmer locals to make lasting change.
Early this morning the first St Stephen’s School Service Tour of 2018 left for Cambodia. The tour is organised through Raw Impact who aim to empower families through innovative and sustainable projects.
We wish them a safe journey and a blessed tour.
Keep updated with their journey and adventure on the St Stephen’s Global Blog or Facebook:
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” – Peter 4:10
Our St Stephen’s Global Year 12 Cambodia Service Tour departs on 6 January for a two week experience working with Raw Impact in their aid and development program in Cambodian villages.
18 students have worked very hard fund-raising and learning about Cambodian culture. The group have been superbly prepared by Mrs. Libbis, Ms. Shanks and Mr. Taylor who will accompany them on tour.
We pray for an amazing life-changing experience and for safety for all.
