ECO FRIENDLY
June 26, 2019Eager to make a difference in the local community, T1 Homeroom recently rolled up their sleeves to clean up the sand dunes at Hillarys. Participating in Keep Australia Beautiful WA‘s Adopt-a-Spot program, students ‘adopted’ an area in their local community they frequently visit to keep it clean. The group also visited the Department of Fisheries to learn about how plastics enter the ecosystem and the consequences faced by the fish in our coastal region.

Gathering to Remember ANZAC Day
April 30, 2019Today, we recall those who, in the tragedy of war gave their lives for Australia and those who died for the freedom of all people.
We remember those who found rest on the ridges of Gallipoli; those who rest in the cemeteries of the great wars; those who rest in the haze of desert and jungle; those who rest in the depths of the seas.
We remember those who have fallen in the defence of peace, on land, in the air and on the sea.
We remember each man, woman and child who has died so that the light of freedom, justice and humanity may continue to shine.
Today, as we remember, we ask God that our praise may be worthy of their sacrifice.

The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
March 8, 2019The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) occurs on the third Friday in March each year. The NDA is an opportunity for students, teachers, parents and the whole community to take a stand together against bullying and violence. This annual day provides a focus for schools who want to say, ‘Bullying. No Way!’ and to strengthen their everyday messages that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time.
St Stephen’s School Duncraig is a registered NDA school.
On Friday, our School and House Captains will wear ribbons to recognising our commitment to assisting students in recognising and responding to bullying.
