Hurdling No Barrier

June 26, 2018

Year 10 students were left a little star struck after Commonwealth Games athletes Brianna Beahan and Ian Dewhurst dropped by to share some track tips.

The hurdling workshop helped students refine their skills and gain confidence in what can be a tricky sport. What better way to start practicing for next term’s Athletics Carnival than with the nation’s best!

ACC Cross Country

Facing some challenging weather conditions, the Cross Country runners battled through to place seventh out of 75 schools at the ACC Cross Country yesterday! Special mentions go to Rachael Edwards (Year 12) who placed fourth in the Under 19 Girls and Remy Rowse (Year 9) who achieved the bronze position in the Under 13 Girls race.
