Inspiring Reading Environment

Duncraig Secondary library has a new reading room.  We are pleased to have created an extra space in our library to accommodate students who want to read in a quiet area, in comfortable seating. The students love it!

Tucker’s first day at school

Mrs Mills Year 8’s were joined by Tucker today in their reading lesson. It was his first day at school but he is no stranger to fame Tucker has appeared in an RAC television commercial, We’ll do the right thing, where he is covered in yellow paint!

Dogs can be clever creatures: many respond to a variety of commands, and some perform fun tricks, but even the cleverest canines can’t read. Instead they are a loving listeners.

I think we will be seeing a lot more of Tucker over the coming term.
