Full rehearsals are now well underway for Grease, lighting up the dance floor of the Carramar Sports and Learning Centre!
If this is just the rehearsals we can’t wait to see opening night!
In year 9 science we are exploring electricity, we have looked at static electricity and enjoyed learning about how the van der Graaf generator works. We have also started to learn about current electricity and how it flows through a circuit. Students are learning how to measure electricity and draw circuit diagrams.

An excellent group of our Yr 11 student are fundraising for their service learning trip to Cambodia next year. As part of this we are looking for empty plant pots that you may have filling up your back shed. If you want to get rid of them they would be greatly appreciated and accepted by the group. The pots can be left either up at the Science building or Student services.
Thank you in anticipation.

Our students never cease to amaze us with their unique sporting skills!
Tahlia Papworth (Year 7) has placed second in the Open Women’s Canicross Competition, while her brother Jayden (Year 9) placed fifth in the Open Men’s Competition.
Canicross is a long-distance running sport requiring a little more skill than a typical cross country race, as each participant is harnessed to a running partner – a dog!
Congratulations to the dynamic duos.

A group of ten year 11 and 12 students went to Ronald McDonald House to participate in their ‘Lovin’ from the Oven’ experience. They made morning tea for the families staying in the house. These families have children who are sick in the new children’s hospital and Ronald McDonald House is very much their ‘home away from home’. The students were also given a tour of the facilities, including seeing inside the rooms which families can stay in, the teen hang out area and the roof top garden.
