Students Soar

December 19, 2017

Carramar and Duncraig Year 12 students have topped off a stellar academic year with 19 students achieving ATAR scores above 95.

St Stephen’s School Head of Secondary Duncraig Bruce Titlestad said the results were a terrific outcome for the students and the entire St Stephen’s School community. “This year’s ATAR results reflect not only the outstanding effort of students, but the ongoing support and guidance provided by teachers and parents. We congratulate our community on another wonderful year of learning.”

Special Presentation

December 11, 2017

Perth Wildcats Captain and WA Charity Direct ambassador Damian Martin recently visited St Stephen’s for a special presentation. WA Charity direct donated $25,000 worth of donations to local charities in need as part of a pilot program with St Stephen’s. This gave a group of Carramar and Duncraig students the opportunity to research and develop their philanthropic skills while choosing which charities to donate to.

Fishy Tales from the Sea

December 7, 2017

The St Stephens SCUBA Students were amazing, conditions at Rotto were perfect, a massive pod of dolphins swam around the boat for most of the day and a massive Port Jackson shark chilling in a cave was a highlight. It was a really great day and a fantastic end to the Open Water Course.

Students shine like a star

December 4, 2017

Last Friday Duncraig Secondary played host to the students from the Early Learning Centre (ELC) and their families. This event is a wonderful highlight to the end of the academic year.

The children and staff worked very hard practice to put on a such wonderful Christmas Nativity play. The students were excellent at remembering all their words and cues.

After the play Mrs. Jacques, Mrs. Gray and Mr. Deck handed out awards to students before the event ended with a prayer.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Cou
nselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6

Battle Royal

November 30, 2017

Ms Ntoumenopoulos lead her Year 10 class into battle today, a Battle of the Sexes and we are not talking Billie Jean King versus Bobby Riggs. Oh no, this was fiercer, it was boys against girls.

After a pep talk they hit the basketball courts, followed by a stint on the oval and finally the creme-de-la-creme  hair braiding, Jenga, and a general knowledge quiz back in the classroom.

Jenga has never been played with so much rivalry and tension.

Everyone was a winner!

For with God nothing shall be impossible.” – Luke 1:37
