FILM FRENZY

The Synthesis Film Festival saw St Stephen’s School dominate when it came to the awards, with our students’ unique talent and skill evident on screen. Congratulations to all our participants!

Primary School category (Years 4-6)
Runner up: Olivia Young from St Stephen’s School for The Fridge Thief

Middle Secondary School category (Years 7-10)
Winner: Stephanie Bryce from St Stephen’s School for Sick and Dying
Runner up: Alyssa Wood from St Stephen’s School for Seen, Heard and Felt

Senior Secondary School category (Years 11-12)
Winner: Ashton Crompton from St Stephen’s School for Retaliation (seen below)

Countdown to Synthesis Exhibition

Set up is underway for this Wednesday’s Synthesis Exhibition launch! Our School will be filled with creative masterpieces like this artwork by Cambell Boutle (Year 11), which captures her brother immersed in the music he’s listening to.

Be sure to celebrate the Opening Night this Wednesday, starting from 5pm in the Primary Village and then proceeding up to the Secondary Admin. Building which starts at 6pm.

Budding Film Makers

The Synthesis Film Festival has St Stephen’s School competing against all other schools in the City of Joondalup for the title of “Best Student Film”. The festival has three separate age categories : Upper Primary (Year 4-6), Middle School (Year 7-10) and Secondary (Year 11-12) and takes place within the school’s Synthesis event on the night of October 17th 2018.
