LIVE IN 3… 2… 1…
Our Year 10-12 Media students from Carramar and Duncraig took a trip to the newsroom recently, getting an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Channel 9 studios. As well as seeing how the magic happens behind the camera, students took turns reading the news in front of it too!

Take a look at their awesome experience.

During the month of March, Pastor Karthik, his wife and sons and various staff members will be joining St Stephen’s for some Professional Development and a brief holiday from Bethany Home. They would also enjoy meeting staff from St Stephen’s School and so we cordially invite you to attend and support the evening.

Sculpture by the Sea

March 9, 2018

Yesterday Visual Art teacher Verity Palmer and Art Technician Claire Davenhall took the Year 9 Visual Art students to Sculpture by the Sea at Cottesloe.

Two artists were on hand to talk to the students, Rima Zabaneh and Andrea Vinkovic.

This is the 14th Annual Cottesloe Exhibition of Sculptures by the Sea.

Sculpture by the Sea was established in 2005 and is the world’s largest FREE to the public sculpture exhibition, having generally over 70 sculptures designed by artists from all over the world. The exhibition is featured from the sea wall, all the way along the sand towards North Cottesloe and on the grassed areas around the beach, and this creates a unique sculpture park.

Well worth a visit!

September 12, 2017

On Friday the 8th of September the year 8 students currently studying Indonesian had the opportunity to visit the Indonesian Consulate in East Perth. They participated in a number of workshops including learning to play traditional Gamelan instruments and learnt Indonesian dance from the island of Sumatera. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience the richness of Indonesian culture and apply the language they have been learning at school in the Indonesian community.
